This place is legit!!

What a rad venue! Nice to see the attention to detail. A sexy, vibey venue to booz on with friends with some delicious snacks to boot. Naturals wines, cured local meats… you can’t lost. Staff were incredible.. such a homely haunt with a electric vibe.

Birthday Dinner

A hidden gem! A group of 8 of us booked a table for a friend's birthday, we were seated outside on a warm winter evening, with heaters close by. Ordered the feed me menu which turned out to be amazing value, plenty of food for all of us, and the food was to die for! Great cocktails and an exciting wine list. The atmosphere was lively and we had a great evening. Thoroughly recommended

Best place in town!!

If you want a real dining experience with damn tasty, ethically sourced, local produce, AND, if you want perfect cocktails and the best wine list going around, then get down here. The menu seemed a bit limited before I got there, but the chef's specials were off the chart. Honestly, the place is so much more than you expect in many ways. And.. the staff... so knowledgable, so passionate and so efficient. I'm not sure if they were they owners, but it seemed like it. Anyway, just get in there, you'll love it.

Females to the Front!

The place is a little hidden away upstairs off the main drag in Byron Bay. Soft lighting, awesome music and atmosphere. There is some really cool artwork from a local lady Karlee Mackie. Had a most enjoyable evening of food and wine at this cosy little establishment. There is indoor and outdoor seating, although I'm assuming better at warmer times of the year the balcony looks stunning. Okay so the wine list, where to begin?! Such a well put together wine list!! It's all female winemakers. There are plenty of options by the bottle, but also the choices of wine by the glass was more than enough to keep us amused for a couple of hours. Food menu is succinct, offering small entree style dishes and a few mains. All are suitable to share or have to oneself. Loved everything we chose among around 6 dishes. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. A place suitable to catch up with friends or family, or somewhere to chat with someone special. Top marks for Oma!

Product knowledge through the roof!

In a tourist town with not many establishments offering any sort of attention to detail, this is a diamond in the rough. Thought the menu is 9 pages of booze and only two of food, this venue delivers big time on food sourced from local growers (read The Farm, Fair Game Venison, Salumi, Provenir). I have visited 3 times now, once with a large group for snacks and what felt like 60 oysters (sorry to chef that had to shuck those to order!) ands twice for meals. I have opted to do their feed me menu once and once i have chosen from the a la carte menu. Out of the two i think i would recommend the feed me menu, i'm not allergenic, nor am i fussy so when all i have to think about ordering is wine, thats a plus from me! When it comes to alcohol, they have everything covered! A female-produced wine list that is natural (means i can mix and match and mitigate the chance of a wine hangover) and the bartenders are absolute guns. Carefully thought out cocktail lists and they'll make any classic if they have the ingredients, which is great if sometimes you like to get twisted on margies like i do. Vibe is cool, artwork is sick. This is a new-ish venue and is floating under the radar of most people visiting Byron. This is prime time to enjoy it before it is heaving every night. Get an uber, get stuck in and you'll be thanking me later

Must Visit, Smash it out the park, time and time again.

Right, where to start. Beware for novel to follow. But credit where credits due. These guys are an absolute sensation. They're a little off the beaten track but a beautiful little find, up that staircase. Food - Something for everyone - I like to think I know about food, but when these guys present the dishes, you get the full back story to the dish, its origins and all that jazz. Thats a bit of USP for me. There's a certain passion for the product that for sure shines through, instead of spaces that give a scripted nonsense, these guys have a genuine air when they're letting you know what they're serving. I went to their event with Casey from BarLiberty, and it was epic. start to finish, so good. So if you get to book into an event, Do it!! Since then I reckon I've been back at least once a week, whether its for a post work wind down cocktail and chat. *Special mention to that in-house made Vermouth. Wow. takes that Friday night negroni to another level. Even if booze isn't your vibe, they've got all those non alcoholic spirits. Aesthetics - They've got wall to wall graphics of the local artist Mlak, gives a cheeky pop of colour to the space. Super chilled atmosphere, no airs of pretentiousness, the space is mega easy on the eye. And decent playlist popping off in the back too. Basically, its that grown up wine bar you've always wanted as your local haunt, staff who know what tf they're doing, and they want you to enjoy your night. Winner in my book. My go to's; Ramen eggs. YES please. Any special they've got going as they're always a banger. in house made bread, Yum. Ooh the pickles, tasty little number. The beet salad with ricotta (I think) mega creamy and little toasted oats. OR hit up the Feed me menu. Winner, all the good stuff as it comes. If you love a negroni, you won't be disappointed by theirs, and get the vermouth. underlying sweetness boosting about. Also one of the best Martini's I've ever had the pleasure of gracing my palate. Also here's praying that those deep fried beef tendons go on some form of bar menu because my god they captured this Scottish kids heart. And that bacon jam.

Delicious Feast, Amazing Wine List , Great Vibe.

Oma was recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad to have found a new place to dine. We had the full experience with the Feed Me menu, which showcased many of their dishes that they had to offer. They had a fantastic wine list, in which the staff had a great wealth of knowledge to guide us through the list to pair with our meal. Such a superb night all round. We will definitely be coming back.
