Seaside market

The name accurately reflects the location of this market. Being it’s directly by the sea. Lots of stalls to browse; arts, food, bric n brac, plants etc. I’ve been a number of times and it’s never been overcrowded. The store owners are always friendly and happy to help. Rainy days are not ideal because it’s quite exposed so if the weather looks likely for rain come prepared. Otherwise you can always duck off to one of the local cafes as there are many close by to wait it out. If you’re an art lover, check out the old fire station while there too as they use it as an exhibit space for local arts and crafts.

A Day at the Market

We enjoyed our time at the markets especially at the pet nursery, the animals were so cute and friendly. The markets had a big variety of handmade products and food vendors especially the Spanish Paella made in huge pots. We walked around for an hour or so and then drove up the shopping strip and looked at the shops. We then drove to Robertson where we had lunch at the Cheese Factory where you can buy an assortment of cheeses, then driving back to Sydney we stopped of at Mittagong for a takeaway coffee to go.

Lovely location for markets. Lots of stalls with friendly operators. There were so many dogs walking around and it was just really friendly and laid back. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours and a fantastic location.

Nice enough market found accidentally

The market was nice enough. The seafood stall was great and the Hemp Tent was awesome too. I tried the cheeses at the cheese market but not to my taste. I was looking for a blue but soft. Also wanted a Brie but didn’t have. The music was lovely and the market had an all round good vibe.

The best markets in Kiama. Most variety and selection of things for everyone. Located in the Centre of town.

By far the best markets on the south coast. Plenty of stalls with loads of variety. The location at Black Beach is superb.

Lovely Day Out At Kiama Markets

We had a lovely day trip to Kiama Markets on a sunny winter’s day. There were many stalls set up around the Kiama Harbour. Lot’s of interesting stuff to see. We strolled around the stalls and then had lunch in the park and coffee at the cafe up by the Kiama Blowhole.
