We had a fabulous day at Maria Island. Daniel and Brenton, our guides, are very knowledge and make the day goes easy. We saw lots of kangaroos and wombats. Lunch was fresh and healthy... we finished the day having wine by the beach. We really recommend See Tasmania Tour when visiting Maria Island.

Awesome experience!!

María island is an amazing place, the ferry trip, the views, the cliffs, the wildlife, the convict site, is all amazing and our tours guides Daniel and Kirk made it even better, they’re super friendly, helpful and the lunch they cooked was too die for. I definitively recommend this tour, if your in Tasmania it’s a must, just keep in mind it involves a lot of walking so if that’s not your thing...

Great Day Trip

We did a day trip from Hobart to Maria Island with Brenton and Daniel. They picked us up promptly from our hotel and drove us to the ferry. They provided a light tea, breakfast, lunch, wine and cheeses afternoon snack. We spent the day touring around Maria Island.

The guides were very knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic about the Island. They knew all the native plants and wildlife. We saw lots of kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and native birds. Bring a bathing suit in case the weather turns out nice.

The hiking was leisurely, with plenty of stops to see animals and the old buildings. This tour is all land based (except for the ferry over). We loved it because you really get to see the island and animals. There are other tours that you are primarily on a boat and looking up at the sea cliffs, but we opted for this perspective.

Superb day tour for people that want simplicity

A fantastic start to my short break in Tasmania with local food, wine and tour guides. The weather was kind, the walks stunning, go at your own pace and the guides were patient. Would of liked more time to go for a swim!!!! I hear the water is warmer on Maria.

Fabulous Day with superb guides

This was a superb trip, efficient, professional, interesting, yet also laid back. A difficult yet compelling combination.
Special mention to the food prepared by Daniel which was excellent.
Kirk was a perfect guide, highly knowledgable, without being the slightest bit boring.
Altogether a highly enjoyable experience in one of the great historical beauty spots of Tasmania.
