East Point Reserve
This is such a great reserve where you will see the massive artillery bunker, other WW2 ruins and stunning coastal views. The signs are a bit discoloured and hard to read so hopefully they fix this in the future, as it’s so awesome to read about the history and what these places were used for. This is a must do and a lovely walk to explore

Wonderful oasis from the heat with some pretty cool WWII items to look at and enter. Great view of the Ocean.
A good area for families to spend a bit of time
Such a picturesque area with great spots for swimming and fishing. There are many grassed areas that are perfect for a picnic. We also visited Lake Alexander on the other side of the road and this is another great spot for families for picnicking and swimming.
LOVELY SPOT TO VISIT.
A lovely natural; peninsular at the end of Darwin Harbour which displays natural flora and fauna and natural untouched sea front of interest. Also of interest is the WW 11 remains of gun placements that were manned to try to prevent enemy ships entering the harbour. A great place to visit and relax.
Back to East Point
Went back to our old stomping grounds at East Point and were delighted that it had not really changed much in the last fifteen years. The road is a little different as well as the Military Museum is much improved. Nice place to check out the harbour from a different perspective as well as cast a line when the tide is right.
